Hi Kids! We're picking up this month with Jacob on his journey to Haran, where he married Leah and Rachel. He has had 11 sons and 1 daughter so far, and now he hears God telling him to return to his brother Esau. While Jacob has had enough of the deceitful behavior of Laban, he has some reservations about seeing Esau. We'll follow Jacob as he obediently heads out to meet Esau, wrestles with an angel, sends huge flocks as gifts to Esau, and experiences a warm reunion. We'll also take a look at Jacob's gift of a beautiful tunic for Joseph, and we'll learn about some of Joseph's dreams. In recognition of Mother's Day, we'll listen to a story about one of the many mothers in the Bible.
